Our Services

Aggressive or Anxious Pet

Pre Euthanasia Consult

Aggressive or Anxious Pet Pre Euthanasia consults allow us to ensure every pet has a peaceful, gentle passing, no matter their temperament. For pets that may find our presence stressful we encourage a pre-euthanasia visit. This will allow us to plan the most peaceful passing possible and to dispense oral sedatives that you can administer before our arrival.

Home Euthanasia

Home Euthanasia Appointments allow you to say goodbye to your pet in a calm and peaceful environment. We come to you in an attempt to make a difficult time that bit easier. These appointments needn’t be restricted to the home. We are mobile and can come to the most convenient and familiar place for you and your pet. All we ask is that your chosen location affords us some peace, privacy and security.

Aftercare

Aftercare can be arranged to align with your wishes. When you entrust us with your pet’s aftercare, you can have peace of mind knowing they will be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. We partner with Lincolnshire Pet Crematorium, who provide an exceptionally compassionate service that we have personally witnessed.

Palliative Care

Not every journey is at its final step.

We also offer home based appointments designed to improve comfort and quality of life, whilst helping you determine the right time for your pet.

End of Life Consultations

End-of-life consultations provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges you and your pet are facing. Together, we can assess your pet’s quality of life and determine when the right time may be for them. We can also explore ways to improve your pet’s comfort and well-being in the meantime.

Acupuncture and Pain Management

We provide veterinary acupuncture sessions in the comfort of your own home, improving quality of life for those pets who are struggling with pain and mobility in their golden years. During these sessions we will review other pain management strategies, from medications and complementary therapies to tips and tricks to improve their mobility.

Out of Hours

We are a mobile practice and are not available 24/7. All clients must be registered with a seperate veterinary practice for all routine and emergency veterinary work. We work closely with your existing vets and our service is designed to compliment theirs. They will remain your primary contact in the event of an emergency.

If, following an end of life consultation or acupuncture appointment, you have concerns about anything specifically related to these appointments, please contact us directly. If you are unable to contact us then our out of hours are covered by Catmose Vets in Oakham.
